How we work

From formula review to scheduled production

Retort processing is an effective solution for shelf-stable RTD coffee, especially for products containing dairy, plant-based proteins, or other low-acid ingredients. By applying a validated thermal process after filling and sealing, retort can achieve commercial sterility and allow the finished product to be stored and distributed at ambient temperature without refrigeration.

For coffee brands, this means longer shelf life, greater distribution flexibility, easier warehousing, and access to broader retail channels. Because coffee, proteins, sweeteners, and flavors can respond differently to heat, the formula and thermal process must be developed together to protect flavor, texture, color, and stability while achieving the required food-safety standard.

If your formula is not finished, our formulation team develops it alongside the production plan, so you are never handed a sample that cannot be manufactured.
